Our 2006 Singularity is classic Napa Cabernet Sauvignon with a deep ruby color and aromas of red cherry candy and boysenberry along with toasty oak. This blended red is a favorite of m2’s winemakers who’ve been creating this wine since the vintage of 1999. A sweet red berry and floral nose leads to elegant flavors of dark cherries and raspberries complemented with toasty oaky notes of vanilla and spice. We think this wine is very juicy on the palate with good structure and a long deep finish. It’s too good for a ‘spaghetti wine’! [order]
At first sip this Zinfandel bursts with intense jammy flavors of blackberries and black cherries, along with strawberries and cassis. The bouquet is that of rich black fruit, with hints of smoke, vanilla, cocoa and coffee, as well as a certain “something” that is a hallmark aroma of Soucie Vineyard. Classic Lodi Zinfandel.
We have been making Petite Sirah from Row 23 (hence the name!) of the Herzog Vineyard in Clarksburg since 2002. The wine from the fruit is quintessential Petite Sirah. It has been aged in new and neutral American oak barrels for 18 months. It is all that Petite Sirah should be; inky, floral, spicy and lush with fruit with a pleasing, not-intimidating tannic backbone. [order]
