Our 2006 Old Vine Zinfandel (Lodi, Soucie Vineyard) has been awarded GOLD at the 2008 Orange County Fair Commercial Wine Competition. Yeee Haw! We consider the Orange County Fair competition as one of the most reputable wine contests in the country so we're proud of this win. And this wine.
Those of you who have followed m2 for a while know that we generally don't enter wine competitions. (Ask us why next time you're at the winery.) That said, when we do enter a competition we do pretty well.
We know you're going to want to taste this wine and take a case or two home (or order on the web site) and we encourage you to do so very soon. We have about 175 cases still in inventory but this wine is going to sell out fast - in fact, 50 cases are going to several Florida restaurants and wine shops next week.
